Colombo, March 21 (newsin.asia) – Sri Lankan parliamentarians from the Joint Opposition group handed over a no confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesingha to Parliament Speaker Karu Jayasuriya on Wednesday.
51 JO members and 4 parliamentarians from the Sri Lankan Freedom Party had submitted their signatures for the no confidence motion.
The 4 SLFP parliamentarians are Nishantha Mutuhettigama, T.B. Ekanayake, Susantha Punchinilame and Cader Masthan.

The motion was handed over to Jayasuriya by former President and parliamentarian Mahinda Rajapakse.
