Colombo, Jan 25 (newsin.asia) – Sri Lanka will host an international yoga conference next month to promote the benefits of yoga among the masses, the local Daily Mirror reported here Friday.
The conference will be titled ‘Yoga for Global Well Being’ and will be organised by the Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, a UNESCO accredited NGO, in collaboration with the National Institute of Sports Sciences , the Sports Ministry and the Dhamya Sports and Yoga Academy.
It will be held under the theme ‘Bridging the gap between Yogic Sciences and Diverse Communities’.
The international conference will be held in Colombo from Feb 9 to 12 and will promote in improving the understanding of yoga among the general public.
