Colombo, April 27 (newsin.asia: Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.14 percent higher amid improved market turnover on Friday. The All Share Price Index ended 6,531.60, up by 9.32 points.
John Keels Holdings PLC, Melstacorp Limited and Sampath Bank PLC led activity levels, collectively accounting for 76 percent of total turnover including crossings.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs.971 million (an estimated 6.1 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net outflow of Rs. 53 million (an estimated 336,000 US dollars).
