Colombo, August 19 (newsin.asia) – The number of coronavirus positive patients detected in Sri Lanka crossed the 369,000 mark as another 3,660 new Covid-19 cases had been detected across the country yesterday (18).
The total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 369,359 with 46,397 active cases registered across the island and as many as 316,528 recoveries according to the Government Information Department.

Sri Lanka also registered 170 more Covid-19 related deaths yesterday, the Director-General of Health Services confirmed. The victims have succumbed to the virus infection on Tuesday (17).
Reportedly, none among the victims are aged below 30 years while 40 of them are aged between 30-59 years and 130 others are aged 60 and above.
The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 6,604 as of now.
