Colombo, April 9 (newsin.asia) – Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.38 percent lower amid moderate turnover levels on Monday. The All Share Price Index ended 6,431.10 down by 24.22 points.
Ceylinco Insurance PLC, John Keels Holdings PLC and Hemas Holdings PLC led market activity including crossings with trading in Ceylinco Insurance PLC amounting to 42 percent of total turnover.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs.679 million (an estimated 4.3 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net inflow of Rs.102 million (an estimated 655,000 US dollars).
