Colombo, May 21 (newsin.asia) – Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.40 percent lower amid subdued turnover levels on Monday.
The All Share Price Index ended 6,466.07, down by 25.99 points.
Sampath Bank PLC, John Keels Holdings PLC and Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC led market activity including crossings with trading in Sampath Bank PLC amounting to 45 percent of total turnover.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs. 524 million (an estimated 3.3 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net inflow of Rs.152 million (an estimated 963,000 US dollars).
