Colombo, April 4 (newsin.asia) – Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended -0.22 percent lower amid a healthy market turnover level on Wednesday.
The All Share Price Index ended at 6,444.41 down by 13.92 points.
Melstacorp Shares, Sampath Bank PLC and Hemas Holdings PLC led activity levels including crossings also seen in Access Engineering PLC and Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC.
Trading in Melstacorp amounted to 37 percent of total turnover.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs. 3 billion (an estimated 19.2 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net outflow of Rs.153 million (an estimated 980,730 US dollars).
