Colombo, January 19 (newsin.asia): Pakistan has invited Sri Lankan entrepreneurs to participate in its Engineering and Healthcare Show 2023. It will be held from 23rd till 25th February 2023 at the Expo Centre, Lahore.
The Engineering and Healthcare Show 2023 would provide an excellent platform to explore trade and investment opportunities between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in over 20 sectors, a Pakistan High Commission release said on Thursday.
The visiting delegates would have an opportunity to hold B2B meetings, with the special assistance of assigned product officers with a wide range of Pakistani exhibitors showcasing high-quality products.
This mega-trade exhibition will target over 400 business delegates from Sri Lanka along with the Gulf countries, Afghanistan, China, Central Asian Republics and African countries.
Over 200 exhibitors from Pakistan are expected to showcase their products in the following sectors: Construction Materials, Minerals and Marble, Agriculture Machinery, Fans, Electrical Machinery and Home Appliances, Mobile Phones, Plastic and its products, Paints and Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Surgical Instruments, Musical Instruments, Sports Goods, Autoparts, Cutlery and Products, Cookware, Steel and Iron, Gems and Jewellery, Furniture, Mattresses, Rubber and Rubber Products, Packaging, Stationery, Paperboard, Handicrafts and Safety Equipment.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka are important trading partners and entered into a bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) since 2005. The FTA has provided duty concessions on a wide range of imports/ exports between the two countries, which makes bilateral trade more cost-effective.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Ministry of Commerce and High Commission of Pakistan in Colombo look forward to active participation at this mega event by Sri Lankans.
