Colombo, Dec 15 (newsin.asia) – Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak will arrive in Sri Lanka on a three day visit, starting Dec 17 to Dec 19, the Sri Lanka Government Information Department said Friday.
In a statement, the Information Department said that the Malaysian Prime Minister’s visit is set to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
During his visit the Malaysian Prime Minister is expected to hold discussions with President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
A high-level team from the Malaysian Foreign Ministry is expected to arrive in the island country as an advance party to help in the visit by Prime Minister Najib, who will depart to Maldives after visiting Sri Lanka.
