New Delhi, November 23 (NDTV): The government of India has granted visas to 33 Pakistani children belonging to the Pakistani Bohra community.
The children were invited by the spiritual leader of the Bohra community Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin who resides in Mumbai.
“We have approved visas for 33 Bohra children from Pakistan who have been invited by the community’s spiritual leader Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin in Mumbai,” Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on her Twitter.
The Bohra community is given special privilege when it comes to travelling to and from India. Earlier in September this year, the 53rd Da’i al Mutlaq and spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, his holiness, arrived in Karachi. His discourse was attended by the Governor and the Chief Minister of Sindh.
