Colombo, Aug 17 (newsin.asia) – Three people were injured when part of a building collapsed in Negombo, just outside capital Colombo on Thursday, police said.
Three three injured were rushed to the Negombo Base Hospitals by rescue workers who rushed to the scene.
Police Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara told NewsIn.Asia that the building was used as a hotel and a new concrete slab was being constructed to extend the hotel premises.

“It is this concrete slab which collapsed resulting in three people getting injured,” Gunasekara said.
