Colombo, April 28 (newsin.asia) – Eighteen people were injured when a passenger bus toppled in the southern expressway, in Pinnaduwa, near the Galle district, in southern Sri Lanka on Saturday, Police said.
A Police official told newsin.asia, the driver had lost control when a back tyre of the bus had burst.
The passengers had been residents of Kalutara and had been travelling to Kataragama, in the Uva Province, on pilgrimage.

The injured had been rushed to the southern Karapitiya Hospital.
An investigation has been launched into the accident.
